Sea-level rise is a static, uniform (“bathtub”) rise with hydraulic connectivity to the sea, computed on the metre heights before brick quantisation. It ignores ocean-dynamic and gravitational fingerprints, vertical land motion/GIA, tides and surge. The DEM interpolates between the 1 m coastline and the first 10 m contour, so rises of a few metres are not reliably resolved; use LiDAR for planning.
